Worktime 2.0 Released
Worktime 2.0 has been submitted to the Mac App Store today. This major update is a complete rewrite of the application, rebuilt from the ground up.
What’s new in Worktime 2.0:
- iCloud synchronization: activities and logs are now shared between all Macs connected to the same iCloud account.
- Multi-currency rates per activity, with a currency snapshot for each entry to ensure accurate historical totals.
- Floating timer panel that stays above all other windows and displays the live cost in real time.
- Brand-new statistics view: choose Today, Week, Month, Year or All-Time and see your time and billed amounts broken down by currency.
- Drag-and-drop activity reordering. The new order is immediately reflected in the timer activity picker.
- Strict import validation for CSV, JSON and XML files. Invalid files are rejected with a clear error message.
- Full HTML reports including activities, logs and statistics, with your company name displayed at the top.
- Optional cash-register sound when stopping a billable session.
- Notifications for saved sessions and time milestones: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours and 8 hours.
- New in-app help window covering every feature.
- Full English and French localization.
